Andrew Galbraith

Andrew Galbraith was born on 10 April 1776 in Washington County, Virginia — twelve weeks before the Declaration of Independence, on the southwest Virginia frontier during the summer of the Cherokee War of 1776. He is a 5x great-grandfather of this family and, of all the "alive in 1776" ancestors identified in the Genie survey (2026-07-03), the one whose own existence is best documented by original records.
